Instafriend. Brad's one of those guys you meet for the first time while surfing in the morning and will be eating grilled pineapple and teriyaki burgers with for a sunset beach BBQ. But eat quickly because he eats like a sumo wrestler. He always has his camera and he's always in a great mood. He needs the energy for his all day adventures, be it surfing sunup to sundown or hiking with new friends to secret waterfalls. Brad never overthinks the situation. If he gets in too deep, he takes it as part of the adventure.
Last year, Brad paddled 26 miles from Hermosa Beach to Malibu’s Paradise Cove, a straight shot across the bay on his SUP with just a few bottles of water and some granola bars. He also participated in the 2012 Catalina Classic as an escort paddler with the Wounded Warrior Project where injured Marines use the ocean as a form of therapy, making it his first 32 mile Catalina Channel Crossing, all while supporting a good cause.
